Industrial informatics is an emerging research area dealing with application of information technologies in manufacturing, production, services and other industrial environments.
Industrial Informatics spans across a number of disciplines such as Software Engineering and Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, Robotics, Industrial Automation and Manufacturing Sciences.
We investigate the potential of distributed control in various applications. For that we develop software tools, new programming languages, methods and patterns, and conduct case studies.
